Beer Tasting Workshop – Malt-forward Beers

This workshop is on the basic ingredients, processes and flavors that go into some of your favorite beers sourced from around the world. The workshop is designed for adults (21+) who want to explore their senses and better understand the history, science and diversity of beer. From the English Mild, to the German Rauchbier, in this workshop we will discuss the direct link Malting has to the local environment, and begin to understand why different styles of beer became popular based on natural environment available to the Brewers in the area. Utilizing the BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Program) guidelines we will explore the different styles, while tasting four unique Malt-forward beers from around the world.
