Pre-Requisite: Bring your dog on a leash (no retractable leashes please)
CEU: 0.45 per session
Combine strength training, Balance, Stretching and some cardio with dog obedience in one session. Get a complete workout while you tire out your dog, mentally and physically so you can go to work and Fido can relax. Great way to begin your day and get some ideas of what you can combine on your dog walks.
All fitness levels and dog breeds are welcome! If you don’t think your dog is trained enough to do this or you don’t think you are fit enough—those are more reasons to come!! As this develops into a multi session course, we will learn each week a new exercise and review and practice the exercises from the previous week. The class is taught by a Certified Personal Trainer that wants to make sure your form is correct to help prevent injuries and get the results that you desire.
Dawn Celapino is the owner of Leash Your Fitness. Dawn has 25 years’ experience in the Personal Training/Group Fitness arena including weight loss, core strength, cardiovascular, flexibility, yoga, kickboxing and balance training. With a B.S. degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State and a degree in Radiography and mammography Dawn is also a personal trainer.
