This class will take the principles learned in “The Foundations of Optimal Wellness” course and put them into real action for your life. Together we will learn to read and discern nutrition information from food labels; build a foundational grocery list template; discern ‘good,’ ‘better,’ and ‘best’ food choice options for every budget and your bio-individual needs; explore useful recipes to save time, money and energy and optimize your nutrient intake; and learn how to source nutrient dense foods online and in the super market. This course will include several field trips to grocery stores, food prep demonstrations and recipe sharing. Amy Saloner, LCSW, NTP is a certified nutritional therapist and lifestyle coach. She is also the CEO of Station Co-Lab a non-profit organization who imparts young adults with life skills.
