Yoga Roots to Rise is a 7-week program (60 minute weekly) which serves as an introduction to the art of yoga and how to bring wellness to life daily. The program is designed for people who would like to learn the fundamentals of yoga, including its history and ancient teachings, as well as practice over 100 postures and various breathing techniques. You will explore Pantanjali's Eights Limbs of Yoga and its relevance to everyday life.

Through a combination of discussion, demonstration, and application, we will practice various meditation techniques and develop skills for a 20-minute meditation.  By the end of this course, participants will have an understanding of yoga's ancient roots; will be familiar with basic yoga postures and breathing techniques, and will be able to develop a home practice that addresses specific physical, mental, and emotional goals. All levels and physical abilities are welcome.

If you did not enroll in this class during registration, please contact Ilana De Laney to RSVP.
