Join us in a fun artistic experience creating two or three acrylic landscape paintings from your own travel photographs. You may use reference pictures or create something from your own imagination if needed. Throughout the classes, you will learn basic composition, color theory, and acrylic painting techniques.
At the end of the course you will have personal memories recreated and treasured. Sherry Chen is an artist, illustrator, and art educator residing in San Diego, California. She has over thirty plus years of experience as an artist and art teacher. In 1987, after graduation with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Book Design and Illustration from the Central Art Academy in Beijing, China, Sherry then had the opportunity to study in the United States at the University of South Carolina. In San Diego, Sherry taught at Miramar College and established her own studio.
