This six-week course will look at health from a holistic perspective, from sleep, to play, to breath to connection and so much more. True health is more than about diet and exercise, it is also about the health of your environment, your sleep, your relationships with yourself and others. Using a four-quadrant approach focused on body, mind, heart, and purpose, we will deepen our understanding of health and wellness, empowering the student to take charge of their own health and well-being.

This course will focus on:

1) The importance of rest, play and self-care, including how they impact our productivity and health

2) How our environment impacts our body and mind, include light, EMF’s and toxins impact our physiology, mood and functioning

3) How to maintain healthy communication and develop deeper intimacy with our loved ones

4) How to breathe your way to better health

5) Simple and easy tools to maintain physical fitness for our increasingly sedentary culture

6) How connecting with our greater purpose in the world brings greater happiness and overall well-being. Amy Saloner, LCSW, NTP is a certified nutritional therapist and lifestyle coach. She is also the CEO of Station Co-Lab a non-profit organization who imparts young adults with life skills.
