Dot Art - Pointillism

Thursday, March 9th, 7:00 – 8:00pm

Instructor: Fay Raymond

Room: Multi-Purpose Room

CEUs: 0.3 per session

Made famous by Georges Seurat and Vincent Van Gogh in the 19 th Century, pointillism is the application of carefully placed dots or strokes of unmixed paint to create a picture. The dots are blended together by the human eye, creating a more vibrant picture than if the paints were mixed together. Join amateur artist Fay Raymond, as we explore color theory and why some color-combinations are more appealing to the eye than others. Then, create a pointillist Mandala or small portrait using our specialized tools for dotting.
