Psychotherapy 101: Exploring the Self- Mind, Body & Soul

CEU: 0.6 per session; 3.0 for the course*

Through therapeutic work, we will go through a journey of healing-in-motion and structural practice by using different Body-Oriented Holistic Psychotherapy tools and methods such as breathing, music, drawing, painting and guided visualization & personal imagination, movement. We will work together as a group and with each individual to develop a personalized process focused on integrative healing and growth.

On this journey to the inner-self and to the child within us, we will learn how to identify and work with our habits, patterns and behaviors which we had lived with throughout our entire life… then we will question ourselves if they might not serve us but fails us. Ortal Rigbi has been living in the US for the past two years after moving from China. Ortal is a certified practitioner of Body-Oriented Holistic Psychotherapy.

She studied Body-Oriented Holistic Psychotherapy at the Ridman International College for Complementary and Integrative Medicine in Israel. She has been working in body-oriented Psychotherapy in Israel and China in various settings with individuals with mental health issues; victims of rape and physical abuse and trauma; individuals suffering from drug addictions; terminally ill people and with children with autistic spectrum disorders. Ortal’s practice and work with individuals and groups is her life’s passion and mission.
