This course (90-minutes weekly) is designed to help you understand the essence of mindfulness and compassion practices and to incorporate them into your daily life. In a step-by-step process, you will discover the nuts and bolts of mindfulness through informal practices and formal meditations. This may be a good foundation to participate in the more comprehensive 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and programs offered at the UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness.
