During Terri's Chakra Yoga Course & practice, every yogi (person who practices yoga) will experience poses and movements that will bring serenity and balance to each chakra space along the spine.

During this series of classes, all yogis will gain information about chakra energy and how a practitioner can use specific movement, breathing, and meditation to heal, unblock, and open each space to link the body and mind which can influence one's health and daily life.

The course will begin at the base of the spine, Root (red) and travel up through the Navel (orange), Solar Plexus (yellow), Heart (green), Throat (blue), Brow (purple), and finally the Crown (white). Wearing the color of each chakra sometimes helps to remember key points and makes it more fun! This program is for all body types and levels and uses slow mindful yoga to invite resilience, promote optimal brain health, and reduce pain.

Terri Rucker has been teaching yoga for youth, adults, and seniors since 2004. She has a California K-12 Teaching Credential, and is certified in 200 Hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) , Silver Age Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher (MMT), Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and Yoga for Kids. She is currently finishing her Yoga Teacher Training for her 500 Hr YTT certification.

Since she last taught at Campus of Life, she has been using a new cueing style which brings on a different vibe. Terri is still teaching Slow Mindful Yoga that is powered up a notch to integrate breathing techniques that can help you regulate and manage your nervous system. We definitely need that these days!
