CEU: 0.3 per session; 3.0 for the course

This hands-on course of 10 sessions explores fundamental techniques in drawing. Learn various concepts like perspective, rule of thirds and balance. Practice contour drawing, negative/positive space, and learn about shading. For all levels of experience.

Beginners to advanced welcome! Marina Tselner is a life-long Visual Artist. She holds a BA Degree in Philosophy & Russian Literature with honors from the University of Chicago and an MFA Degree in Experimental Animation from California Institute of the Arts.

Marina began teaching Art classes in 1995 and has taught a wide variety of courses, ranging from advanced Animation at the Academy of Art University, to introductory Art classes for preschoolers and their entire families at her own private Art studio. Originally from the Former Soviet Union and then San Francisco, Marina just recently moved to San Diego, where her family, community and the surrounding nature continues to inspire her daily.
